Campus demand for large teaching space and for film, live performance and speech presentations prompted the university to turn its 1970s-era theater into a multi-purpose venue. Located within the campus' mixed-use student center that remained occupied during construction, the refurbishment and technological upgrade of this 170-seat theater transformed the outdated facility into a state-of-the-art lecture and performance hall and smart classroom.
