TEF provided interior design services for this new simulated surgery education center. The first of its kind on the West Coast, it provides a wide range of innovations ideal for research and development of surgical skills innovation, anesthesia techniques and nursing education. It features a link to the first high-definition simulated operating room in the US as well as patient simulators, simulated post-anesthesia recovery unit, and distance learning through pod-casting and HD videoconferencing. The facility provides an important platform for enhanced critical decision-making and protocol development and reflects the client’s commitment to bringing health care innovation to the bedside.
